PERFORMANCE ANXIETY COACHING

Performance anxiety can seriously interfere with how well we perform when the pressure is on. Whether you're a performer, athlete, or professional, it can show up as racing thoughts, physical tension, loss of focus, or even avoidance - despite being highly skilled and well-prepared. Over time, this anxiety can destroy confidence, limit opportunities, and create a cycle of frustration and underperformance. Coaching offers structured support to break that cycle.
Through coaching, I can teach you the science behind what happens when performance anxiety kicks in, and help you understand why these patterns have formed in your mind and body. Together, we will design structured, evidence-informed strategies to regulate anxiety responses, reframe limiting beliefs and enhance performance under pressure, gradually breaking the destructive cycle and enabling you to work to your full capacity in any performance situation.
I offer targeted, tailored advice based on the specific demands of theatre performance, thanks to my extensive experience as a musical theatre performer, in educational leadership at some of Europe’s top conservatoires, and through two decades as a professional Musical Director.
Additionally, I work with clients in many other performance domains such as sport and business, helping elite performers in many areas overcome the hurdles they face in delivering at the top of their game, be it imposter syndrome, fear of public speaking, competition nerves, fear of rejection or the opinion of others, and much more.
I am currently completing my Professional Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and can add CBT tools and techniques to my approach to working with you.
